I’m Michelle Bacani, a Senior UX Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy, research, and design execution.
My Approach
My journey began with design, first as a hobby and then as a career path, and it was strengthened by my background in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science. That training in psychology, cognition, and human behavior gave me a practical framework for understanding how people complete tasks, adapt to environments, and engage with technology in real-world contexts. Today I apply that lens directly to UX design by using task analysis to simplify complex workflows, grounding systems in accessibility and usability, and ensuring every interaction I create supports people in achieving their goals with clarity and confidence.
What I Do
I’ve shaped UX across both enterprise web and mobile platforms, from streamlining point-of-sale and service operations to improving e-commerce journeys and account experiences. My work bridges customer needs with business goals, delivering designs that support day-to-day operations, build loyalty, and create seamless digital touchpoints across channels.
